ADR 19 Compliant Indicators for Motorcycles
WEB indicators on motorcycles manufactured from 1 October 1991 onwards must be ADR 19 compliant. WEB ADRs are numbered to indicate original and revised versions as follows ADR X00 indicates the original version of.
A pair of direction indicator lights fitted to a vehicle must be spaced as follows:
- A lights fitted to the front of a vehicle must be spaced no less than 180mm apart and no more than 600mm apart.
- Lights fitted to the rear of a vehicle must be spaced no less than 360mm apart.
Indicator Flashing Rate and Function
If indicators are fitted to your motorcycle, they must flash between 45 and 120 times per minute and have either an amber or white light.
Front and Rear Indicator Colors
Front-facing indicators must be white or yellow, while rear indicators must be yellow or red.
